Hotel Booking:

We reserved 30 standard rooms for the nights of September 27, 28 and 29. The rates are $69 for Thursday and $89 for Friday and Saturday. In addition to the room rate there is a $16.99 room amenities fee that covers Wi-Fi, the Fitness Club, Parking as well as the Shuttle service to and from the airport and the Strip. Check in time is 3:00 pm.

The cutoff time/date for getting one of the rooms in our reserved block at the special rate is midnight 08/28/2018. After that date any unsold rooms will revert to the hotel’s general inventory for sale.

Reservations can be made on line or over the phone. The hotel prefers you do it on line.

Make sure to identify yourself as 54th Anniversary Reunion – USMC Basic School Class 464 or by the assigned code which is: S54USMC. Without mentioning the code you will not receive the special rate and may be advised the hotel is sold out.
 

Saturday Evening Dinner:

We will make arrangements for the Saturday night dinner at one of the hotel’s specialty dining rooms with a menu to be arranged through their catering department. More on that later. 

Guided Tours:

We have no specific events scheduled for the time in Las Vegas, but arrangements can be made with the concierge at the hotel. For those interested in hunting and fishing the Silverton houses a humongous Bass Pro Shop with a full line of outdoor clothing and merchandise from hunting equipment to outboard motors.

Hospitality Suite:

We reserved one of the Silverton’s large guest rooms that will be converted to a hospitality suite. The charge for the space is the same as a standard guest room, and there will be a charge for moving the furniture and for drinks and other refreshments. The per person charge including that amount will be determined after we have a better idea of how many will be attending the reunion.

McCarran International Airport (airport code: LAS) is the best destination for those arriving by air. The hotel has a scheduled airport shuttle that is available with a shuttle reservation that can be arranged by calling 866-722-4608. For further details, including the schedule, see the hotel website. If the shuttle schedule does not fit your flight arrival the airport is only 4.5 miles driving distance from the Silverton so it is an inexpensive trip by Uber, Lyft or taxi.
